Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant confirms quality of mesh reinforcement

Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (BMK AO, part of Mechel Group) has had its welded mesh reinforcement certified as compliant with the requirements of the Mosstroicertifikatsia system (Moscow System of Voluntary Certification for Construction).

Experts examined welded mesh from 2.8-6mm rebar wire and 5-12mm rebar rolls, produced by Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant according to state standards and technical specifications. Mesh reinforcement is supplied to construction companies and are used for reinforcing concrete structures, brick walls, in-situ road paving and other needs. Use of these mesh types significantly extends life expectancy of construction structures.

Certifiers also examined the plant’s reference documentation and mesh production technology. Their reports confirmed the reliability and quality of the plant’s meshes and their compliance with the construction industry’s requirements. The certificates are valid for three years, to be confirmed annually.

The Moscow System of Voluntary Certification for Construction is a leading certifier in Russia. It is primarily concerned with certifying construction materials, structures, shell and core works, design efforts, personnel, as well as management systems such as quality, environment, work safety and others.
