We can deliver our products by railcar and container to the purchaser’s station. Alternatively, products can also be collected directly from our warehouses.

Own transport company

Railway freight and forwarding services and arrangement of warehousing for our stock are provided by Mecheltrans.

Own trade ports

To deliver our products, we also own trade ports – Port Posiet and Port Kambarka.

Port Posiet, a seaport that provides trans-shipment of various bulk cargoes including coal. Posiet’s advantageous geographical location on the Sea of Japan (south of Vladivostok, on Russia’s border with China), its connection to the Trans-Siberian Railway trunk line, and the existence of car and rail routes within Russia and China combine to create optimal conditions for the shipment of Mechel’s products to the Asia-Pacific region. The port can service ships with a cargo capacity of up to 26,000 tonnes year round.

Port Kambarka is located in Kama, a town in the Republic of Udmurtia, and is one of Russia’s largest river ports. The facility specializes in the transshipment of bulk cargo, including iron ore concentrate and coal. Due to its significant depth and favorable location near the Gorkov railway, the port is capable of processing “river-sea” class cargo ships, routing both within Russia and European countries, particularly Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Great Britain through the Baltic and North Seas.
