Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant Launches Output of Hardware for Steelmaking, Coal, Furniture and Textile Industries
Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (part of Mechel Group) has launched output of 10 new hardware types for the mining, cable, furniture and textile industries in 2021. Test batches of the new products have been dispatched to the plant’s clients.
Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (part of Mechel Group) began start-up and adjustment procedures for its new wiredrawing equipment. The plant acquired four wiredrawing benches worth a total of 220 million rubles as part of the investment project aimed at upgrading the plant’s steel wire and rope facilities. The launch is scheduled for June. According to the project’s outline, the plant will launch a total of 12 new benches by the end of 2023.

The certifier’s experts confirmed that the plant’s wire ropes are produced in compliance with the register’s requirements, with the plant’s quality control maintained at a high level. These licenses enable Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant to supply its products to shipbuilding companies.
Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (BMK AO, part of Mechel Group) produced its jubilee 20-millionth tonne of hardware. The total of 20 million tonnes of hardware is enough to load some 300,000 railcars, of a train that would be over 4,000 kilometers long — the length of Russia’s territory from north to south.
